NORWEGIAN CHAMPIONSHIP STYMIED BY LIGHT WINDS

From The Norwegian Class - Three days of absolutely no wind! This was the situation in the Oslo fjord last week end. No races, not even a start attempt for the 21 boats that were waiting and waiting in Asker outside Oslo. Friday afternoon we had the AGM for Melges Norway. The President and the rest of the board were re-elected. We had interesting discussions about next years championship and other items.

The rest of the week-end was sunbathing and gossiping. No sailing, no champion, no ranking points! Sadly it will not be possible to reschedule the 2005 Norwegian Championship.
