Norway to Host Nordic Championship
The Norwegian Melges Class and Royal Norwegian Yacht club would like to invite all Melges 24 sailors to Norway from Thursday 26th of June until Sunday 29th of June for Nordic Championship at Hankø. The regatta is open for all sailors
Hankø is Norway’s center for regattas and during this week there will be arranged Hankø Race Week, with lost of other one design classes. The courses are situated in open waters with good possibilities for surfing conditions. Placed 45 km from the Swedish border, with possible ferries from Kiel to Oslo, Denmark to Oslo or Larvik.
We expect around 35 Norwegian boats, and hope for at least 15 foreign boats like we have seen on the last Nordic Championships.
All Melges boats will be docked at Hankø Yacht Club, a center for after sail situated beautiful in Hankø Harbour.
