Nordic Championship Update
This year the Melges 24 Class is holding the first ever Nordic Championship. Organised in association with the Finnish Championship the event will take place in Mariehamn, Finland from 27-30 July and crews from across Scandinavia and Northern Europe will be competing.
The Baltic Melges 24 fleet is seeing some exciting new developement at the moment including the launch of the new Estonian Fleet. The Nordic Championship has been introduced in recognition of the strength of competition in the region and to help the Melges Class grow in the Baltic. The Finnish Class, infamous for its hospitality and organisational abilities, will be hosting this first Nordic Championship and as always crews making the trip to Mariehamn can expect both fantastic sailing and great partying. The Aland Island Yacht Club is one of the oldest clubs in Finland and is located in the beautiful Finnish archipelago so its also a great place to take the family.
