Netherlands Announces New Melges 24 National Class

We are delighted to announce that the Netherlands has now formed its own Dutch Melges 24l Class Association. Chairman of the new class is Frank Lieve (e-mail frank@melges24klasse.nl) and the Secretary is Jeroen Baggerman (email jeroen@melges24klasse.nl) and already they have two events confirmed for the 2011 season:-

Dutch Melges24 Open Championship
23 - 25 september
City: Medemblik(EK2013 venue)

With the 2013 Melges 24 European Championship taking place in Medemblik we are looking forward to considerable Dutch interest in the Melges 24 and Frank and Jeroen would be delighted to hear from any potential Dutch Melges 24 sailors.

For those of you considering attending that 2013 European Championship this year's Dutch Open Championship provides the perfect opportunity to start familiarising yourself with the Europeans race area so why not join the Dutch fleet for this event (Medemblik is a wonderful historic Dutch town with lots of apres sailing and family entertainment so its well work a visit).
