MELGES 24 WILL BE BIGGEST ONE DESIGN FLEET AT YACHTING KEY WEST RACE WEEK
Hot news from the organisers of Yachting Key West Race Week (15-19 January 2001) is that the Melges 24 fleet entry is currently 53 boats, twice as many as any other one design fleet at the regatta.
With temperatures in the high 70s and a record total entry of over 300 boats Key West will be the place to be in mid January. There is still just time to make a late entry so if you haven’t yet booked your slot visit www.premier-racing.com for further details and entry forms, etc.
There are also a few places left on the Key West Zenda University Tuning Day being run by Harry Melges and Andy Burdick on Saturday 13 January. If you want to take advantage of this great opportunity to tune up with two of the best Melges 24 sailors in the World contact Andy Burdick on andy@melges.com right now.
