Melges 24 Sailors Win 5.5 Worlds

Congratulations to Melges 24 sailors Kristian Nergaard, Petrus Eide and Johan Barne of Norway on becoming the 5.5 Metre European Champions. This hugely experienced team beat an 18 strong fleet racing from the Aland Yacht Club in Finland. Kristian was one of the first ever European Melges 24 owners and also became the first Corinthian Melges 24 World Champion at the inaugural M24 Worlds in Torquay while Petrus is another very familiar face from the European Melges 24 circuit regularly clocking up podium finishes over the years. We're always saying that Melges 24 sailors are some of the best sailors in the World and it's great to see such a vivid demonstration of this. Well done guys!
