Melges 24 Europeans 2021 - Event testing guidance
September 3, 2021 - Portoroz, Slovenia - The Organizing Committee of the Melges 24 European Championship 2021 is welcoming all participants at the Melges 24 European Championship 2021, that will take place from September 4th until September 11th in Portorož.
To secure the highest possible health safety during the event, we present you most important information and guidelines for all sailors and team members with the aim to minimize the risk of infections and spread of COVID-19.
To attend the event it will be obligatory to present the proof of meeting the recovered-vaccinated-tested (green pass). A negative COVID-19 PCR test result can not be older than 72 hours at the time. The rapid antigen test can not be older than 48 hours at the time.
Antigen Rapid Test for Melges 24 sailors will be available on Monday, Wednesday and Friday in Marina Portorož after the races. The testing will take place without pre-registering and will be performed by the authorized contractor Cor Medico.The cost of the test is 12 euros and it will be charged to the participant.
If it is necessary to provide a test results for a further travelling after the European Championship in Portorož, testing can be organized by request before departure.
In case of changes the Organizing Committee of Melges 24 European Championship will provide updated information accordingly.
