JUNE IS BURSTING OUT ALL OVER WITH MELGES EVENTS!

After a few relatively quiet weeks on the international Melges 24 scene next month sees a flurry of
activity with the Detroit NOOD and the ever popular Golison North Sails Race Week happening in the US and four
National Championships taking place in Europe.

The Detroit NOOD (31 May - 1 June, Detroit, Michigan) promises to be an excellent event for the midwest fleets with a
good turnout and a new race area to keep the competitors on their toes.

As always Golison/North Sails Race Week (28 - 30 June, Long Beach, California) will be an excellent regatta with some serious Melges 24 racing on offer. Organised by the same team who bring you Key West Race Week this remains one of the top US West Coast regattas so get your entry in before 31 May to avoid late entry fees.

In Europe things kick off with the Swedish Nationals (31 May - 2 June, Stockholm, Sweden), followed by the French
Nationals (5 - 9 June, St Quay Portrieux, Brittany), the Finnish Nationals (7 - 9 June, Helsinki, Finland) and the UK
Nationals (19 - 23 June, Torquay, England). With the Travemuende Worlds now less than 3 months away the
European teams are putting in as much serious practise as possible so we can expect some good turnouts and some
really close competition at all these events.
