An Invitation to Lake Maggiore

A very special invitation to sail on Italy's beautiful Lake Maggiore from the Associazione Velica Alto Verbano - Dear Melges 24 Sailors, the Melges 24 class is growing up well on our Lake Maggiore and we already have some good crews looking forward to bringing the usual high level competitors to our home waters.

For these reasons, and following the good success of the Luino 2004 event, we are delighted to announce that our Associazione Velica Alto Verbano is organizing this year the Coppa Lino Favini, in memory of Flavio’s dad, for your class.

The racing days will be from Friday 14th to Sunday 16th of September, first start Friday at 1pm. It will be great if from now you could keep this week end free from other commitments and join us in Luino. That is the week end before the Octoberfest Regatta, which is not too far away. It is a good chance for everybody to do both
