From the USMCA - Important information for all competitors at ACURA Key West 2008.

2008 MELGES 24 CLASS ASSOCIATION MEMBERSHIP If you have not already done so, please make sure that your 2008 Class Membership is up-to-date. Membership activation and/or renewals may be completed online via credit card at the official website of the U.S. Melges 24 Class Association WWW.USMELGES24.COM or via your NATIONAL CLASS ASSOCIATION for overseas competitors. All competitors competing in Key West must have a valid class membership with their corresponding National Class Authority. This will be checked at the time of registration.

MELGES 24 CORINTHIAN COMPETITION
Once again the class will celebrate the Melges 24 Corinthian competition in Key West. If your team qualifies, be sure to fill out a 2008 Corinthian Declaration Form . This form can be faxed in advance to USMCA Press Officer and Class Communications Director Joy Dunigan at +1 (912) 756-6728 or, may be submitted at the Melges desk during registration.

MELGES 24 CLASS RULES UPDATES & CHANGES
ISAF has published the official 2008 Melges 24 rule changes. Visit ISAF'S WEBSITE for all rule change details. These changes are effective 1st January 2008.

MELGES ROCKS!
Rumor has it that there is one heck of a party being planned for the Melges fleets this year in Key West. Join the class, be in Key West and on the A List for what will be the event of the regatta! Look out for that invite in your competitor package! Plan to attend on Wednesday, January 23rd — starts at 8:30 - until. An official invitation will be included in your competitor pack.
