Have Melges Will Travel
This morning's e-mail brought a great note from Eamonn O'Nolan, owner of GBR676 "Bateauneuf" who is currently having the time of his life driving his Melges 24 across the United States from Key West to Santa Cruz. Eamonn tells me that it's the perfect way to escape the rat race for a few days and that he's been meeting some amazing characters as he drives across the Southern USA.
Unsurprisingly the question he is most frequently asked is ... "what the hell is an Irish guy doing with a sailboat in this part of the world?"!
The photo shows Eamonn, "Bateauneuf" and their trusty tow vehicle up in the mountains of New Mexico.
