German Melges 24 Class Update

From the German Melges 24 Class - The German Class has been working hard to promote the boat to new sailors through the winter season including showing a Melges 24 at the recent CBR Boatshow in Munich. The stand was supported by Peter Göckel at Devoti Sailing Germany who took care of the logistics and over the weekend German Class Chairman Gunter Tzeschlock presented four extremely well received "talk-shows" promoting the class to a mixed audience.

The Melges 24 will also had a presence at the Swiss Nautic Show in Berne from 17-25 February where Jean Marc Monnard's company Europ'Sail carried Melges 24 promotional literature on their stand.

Looking ahead the first ranking event for the German Class will be the North Sails Cup 2007 on 14 and 15 April 2007 in Kreuzlingen (SUI) at Lake Constance - 15 M24 are expected. International crews on their way back from Marseille are invited to join us there, more information on this at WWW.SVK-KREUZLINGEN.CH or E-mail info@melges24.de
