Fargo Surges Ahead of Gulari to Take North American Sailing Series Lead by 1 Point

September 6, 2024 - Eight out of ten events in the 2024 North American Sailing Series have been completed with a change in leadership. Geoff Fargo of Santa Barbara, California, sailing Sentinel, now leads the rankings among 96 teams, courtesy of a third-place finish at the World Championship. Bora Gulari's Kingspoke currently holds second place, with Corinthian Dan Berezin racing Surprise in third. Completing the top five on the podium are Dark Horse skippered by Cuyler Morris and The 300! skippered by Steve Boho.

Two events remain: the 2024 Canadian National Championship (September 20-21) and the ACC/GCC - Bushwhacker Cup at Pensacola Yacht Club (November 8-10).
