Doyle Sails Melges 24 Nordic Trophy 2015 in Amal, Sweden - After three races four Norwegian teams leading

29 May 2015 - Åmål, Sweden - Great fleet of seventeen ‎Melges24‬ boats has started the 2015 Doyle Sails Nordic Trophy's first event in Åmal, Sweden today. Nations and boats represented are: Finland - 1; Denmark - 1; Sweden - 9; Norway - 6. Three races completed and Peder Nergaard's Blow Henry Lloyd NOR-787 is leading followed by the three fellow countrymens.

Three races were held in superb weather and wind conditions. The leader with 7 points (1,2,4) after the first day is Blow Henry Lloyd NOR787 helmed by Peder Nergaard. Just one point behind is Team Baghdad II NOR400 helmed by Kristoffer Spone followed by Team Baghdad NOR600 helmed by Kristian Nergaard with 13 points in total. Fourth with 15 points is Rett Rundt Hjørnet NOR732 with Herman Horn-Johannessen in helm.

The second day will be really interesting with a forecast of pouring rain and shifty winds.
