DAY THREE DAWNS WITH RAGING HANGOVERS AND BIG BREEZE

Last night's Jacob's Creek Melges 24 European Championship gala party was a huge success - unless you were one of the unlucky people who found themselves being thrown into the night club's swimming pool fully dressed. With free Jacob's Creek wine, a buffet supper, live band and the swimming pool under the dance floor it was a memorable evening.

Today the sun is out again but the forecast is for very strong offshore winds. The crews are preparing to go afloat but a final decision on whether racing can take place is yet to be made.
