CREWS PARTY AND PAY TRIBUTE TO GIORGIO IN TORBOLE

450 Melges sailors and official from the Circolo Vela Torbole enjoyed a fabulous dinner at Riva's smartest hotel last night. The crews enjoyed a wonderful italian meal with endless free wine before watching a very moving film tribute to Giorgio Zuccio and video from the first two days of sailing. Afterwards each skipper was presented with a specially commissioned limited edition print of Melges 24s sailing on Lake Garda by a local artist.

In time honoured tradition those present took the official midnight finish as a signal to move to the nearest bar and a number of very sore heads are currently being nursed in the restaurant outside the press office as we wait for wind.
