Christoph Wieland Wins German Melges 24 Cup

The German Melges24 Cup, now in its 10th edition, was sailed at Tutzing from 17.-19. May 2007. 11 Boats signed in and were on the starting line as well.
Light winds just enabled 2 races, but the cooperation with Volkswagen was a big success and the event really helped to raise awareness of the Meges24 Class with a lot of new sailors.
The race was won by GER 320 - Christoph Wieland sailing "Frau Strosek", second place went to GER 640 - Günter Tzeschlock and crew on "Ka Nalu Nui", third place went to GER 507 - Manfred Hänle and crew on "Fefra".
