Check Out The 2011 Europeans Venue At The 2010 Norwegian Open National Championship
Next year's European Championship organizer is to also host the 2010 Norwegian Open National Championship from 3rd– 5th of September. Haugesund Yacht Club was founded in 1961 and is based on the west coast of Norway. The Norwegian Melges 24 class migrates west to enjoy three days of racing on the same Venue as for the 2011 Europeans. The racing area, Sletta, provides winds and waves that the Melges 24 long for.
Full Medal Jacket, third in Annapolis and winner of the recent Hanko Race Week is hunting for their first national title. Storm and Oslo Flaggfabrikk will also be challenging FMJ, along with the title defender Rett Rundt Hjørnet. All the other top teams are participating along with Swedish and German entries. The championship fleet will be around 30 boats. Are you going?
