CAMPBELL & AYRES BATTLE IT OUT AT NORTH SAILS RACE WEEK

North Sails Race Week at Long Beach in California saw 14 Melges 24s battle it out in a great regatta with some incredibly close racing.

Reigning World Corinthian Campion Argyle Campbell and Bruce Ayres fought right down to the final finish with Campbell eventually taking the overall honours by just one point from Ayres. Zarko Draganik took third ahead of Rick Rajewski and Cathy Wood.

The weather provided a range of conditions with the final day being light and shifty and really testing the competitors to the max.

As always the racing was superbly managed by the Golinson & Golinson/Premiere Racing Team, who also run that Melges 24 favourite Key West Race Week.
