Audi tron Sailing Series - Melges 24 - Day 1 in Loano, Italy

3 April, 2015 - Loano, Italy - It's Audi tron, the first team hoping to be crowned as the Melges 24 “First of the Kings” that today has opened up the 2015  Audi tron Sailing Series, event organised by B.Plan Sport&Events in cooperation with Melges Europe.

The tricky lack of wind allowed only one race, with unstable wind blowing 10 knots.

As said before, the race has been won by the Audi Italia Sailing Team, with Riccardo Simoneschi on the helm and tactician Enrico Fonda.

Second place for Lenny, with two-time Olympian Tonu Toniste, third place for a surprising Marco Cavallini's Jeco Team.

Lenny EST790 - Audi tron Sailing Series - Loano - Zerogradinord

The leading group has been reached by Czech team Margarita and Swiss team Cinghi-aile, at fifth before Andrea Racchelli's  Altea.

Tomorrow morning another thrilling sailing day will be starting off at 9,55 am on the racing field by the Marina di Loano, and the Yacht Club, with a foreseen stronger northern wind blowing.
