April 24 – Pre-Entry Deadline For The 2015 Melges 24 European Sailing Series Second Event In Balatonfüred

13 April, 2015 – Balatonfüred, Hungary – Less than two weeks until the end of the Pre-Entry deadline on April 24 for the ‪‎2015 Melges 24 European Sailing Series second event in Balatonfüred on May 8-10.

Competitors who have already made their entry - but not yet paid their entry fee of 250€ - are reminded that they need to make their payments by April 24 to avoid paying 50€ extra for late entry fee. Entry fee includes launching at commencement and recovery at conclusion of the regatta at designated times, berthing for the event, trailer storage and tickets to the principal events for all competing crew.

Balatonfüredi Yacht Club (BYC) and MVM Sport Club (MVM SE) are honoured to welcome you all in Balatonfüred between May 8-10 to participate at the Balaton Melges 24 Spring Regatta. The Regatta, which will be organized in kind co-operation with the Hungarian Melges24 Class Association and International Melges24 Class Association, will be the second event of European Melges24 Sailing Series 2015!

There's still time to register! Don’t miss the great opportunity to sail on the waters of the Melges24 Europeans 2014 and to gather points to the‪ 2015 Melges 24 European Sailing Series ranking!

We had 22 boats from 11 nations at the first ranking event in Portoroz in March – let’s have a bigger number as the season will pick up steam!

Check your Class membership before the regatta!

Per Melges 24 International Class Association Constitution 6.5: Proof of class membership will be by listing on the IMCA website (http://melges24.com/class_members). The NCA’s shall be responsible for maintaining the lists of their class members. Access to the membership edit area shall be provided to the nominated NCA representative by the IMCA. Please kindly ask your Natinal Class Administrators to take care of renewing your membership to be valid for racing at the International Melges 24 class regattas.
