Aarhus Melges 24 Spring Cup Dates Confirmed

The first ever "Aarhus Melges 24 Spring Cup 2012" – will be hosted by Aarhus Sailing Club in conjunction with Sailing Aarhus.

The cup consists of two seperate events held in the same place - Århus, Denmark. Well known to all Melges24 sailor from "Böklunder Melges 24 European Championship 2011" -- www.melges24.com/node/5515 

Århus is Denmark´s second largest city, centrally located with fantastic connections from all around Europe, thousands of accommodation possibilities, shopping paradise, restaurants / bars and most of all fantastic sailing.

Bring your boat to the first event and leave it there for the month in a secured place and come back a month later. Easy!

The two cup event racing dates are:
- Friday 23 - Sunday 25 of March 2012
- Friday 20 - Sunday 22 of April 2012

Both events have similar scheduling as following:
Thursday 16.00 to 20.00 registration, crew weighing etc (no boat
measurements), some boat equipment check ups

Friday 09.00 to 12.00 >> registration, crew weighing etc (no boat
measurements), some boat equipment check ups
Friday 14.00 >> 1st scheduled race (1 – 3 scheduled races)

Saturday 10.00 >> 1st scheduled race (1 – 4 scheduled races)
Saturday 20.00 >> Buffer dinner

Sunday 10.00 >> 1st scheduled race (1 – 4 scheduled races)
Sunday 15.00 >> last chance to give the warning signal
