2009 Melges 24 Muskegon One Design Regatta, May 15-17

If you are looking for yet another outstanding Melges 24 US Midwest event to attend, this one is it! The 2009 Muskegon Melges 24 One Design Regatta happens this weekend in Muskegon, Michigan on May 15-17, hosted by the Muskegon Yacht Club. For the USMCA, this is yet another 2009 SLAM U.S. Championship Series event, so there are great prizes to be won. "The Slam jackets are awesome! The prizes really upped the whole awards thing," said Mike Dow, 2009 Gateway Regatta Champion.

Traditionally, this event is a milestone on the Midwest circuit and the usual attendance level can be up to as many as 25 boats. There is nothing like big fleet racing in the Melges 24. Plan to attend this regatta! Be on the line and set to win!
