2008 Volvo Melges 24 Worlds Dates Confirmed!

We are delighted to finally announce the dates for the Volvo Melges 24 World Championship 2008 which will be hosted by the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda, Porto Cervo, Italy from 28 May to 6 June 2008. We are also delighted to confirm that Volvo has agreed to be the title sponsor for the event.

The programme for the regatta will be as follows:

Registration & Measurement - Wednesday 28 - Saturday 31 May

Pre-Worlds Racing - Friday 30 and Saturday 31 May

World Championship Racing - Sunday 1 to Friday 6 June

Prize giving ceremony and gala closing party - Friday 6 June

Competion of haul out - Saturday 7 June
