The Melges Performance Sailboats Trophy

The International Melges 24 World Championship is raced for the Melges Performance Sailboats Trophy. This trophy was presented in 1998 by the Melges family of Melges Boatworks, Zenda, USA to the International Melges 24 Class (IM24CA) as the World Championship Perpetual Trophy.

In agreement with the Executive Committee of the IM24CA the Melges Performance Sailboats Trophy will be the perpetual trophy of the Melges 24 World Championship.

This trophy has been created by noted modeler Kyle Metzloff in 1998 and has been fully restored by Italian Naval illustrator and model maker Luca Ferron in March 2022.
