KRISTOFFER SPONE & NILS HAUFF'S FRUEN MAREN TEAM WIN NORWEGIAN OPEN

The Norwegians were successfully arranged over 3 days last weekend at Moss, 1 hour south of Oslo. Beautiful weather with winds 8-22 knots secured superb sailing conditions. MOSS Sailing Club secured a very high quality of the 10 races over 3 days.

The Championship was characterized by the extremely high level of competition between the 20 contestants. The Champion of the Year was clear only after the last race. NOR-249 FRUEN MAREN with Kristoffer Spone on the helm just secured the Championship just ahead of NOR-418 RETT RUNDT HJÖRNET with Soling Olympic Bronze medalist Herman Horn Johannessen on the helm. 3rd was last years Norwegian Champion NOR-506 LEK with Geir Dahl Andersen driving, with equal # of pionts as NOR-418.
