Kieler Woche Is the Third Event of the Melges 24 Class European Sailing Series 2014
The third event of the Melges 24 Class European Sailing Series 2014 will be held on June 21-24, 2014 in Kiel, Germany. Less than 40 days until the official opening of Kieler Woche 2014. Entries received not later than 01 June 2014 will qualify for the Early Entry Fee.

ENTRY FEES for Melges 24 - Early Entry Fee 200 EUR, Entry Fee 300 EUR.
Below you’ll find all information copied from NoR relevant for the Melges 24 class in terms of schedule and accommodation.
The fees are quoted in Euro. Entries received not later than 01 June 2014 will qualify for the Early Entry Fee. Competitors and coaches shall enter by completing the online entry form on the event website www.manage2sail.com and paying the required fees. Entries must be received no later than 01 June 2014 to qualify for the Early Entry Fee.
Schedule for Melges 24 class goes under Kiel-Cup Foxtrott yo be held on June 21-24.
Kiel-Cup Foxtrott - The Kiel-Cup Foxtrott consists of several Windward/Leeward Races on Racing Area “Foxtrott” or “Delta”.
Format:
14 scheduled Windward/Leeward Races of about 3 to 9 nm each.
Start: Saturday 21 June. First warning signal at 1255 hrs on “Foxtrott“ or “Delta“.
Racing: Saturday 21 June to Tuesday 24 June.
Last Race: Tuesday 24 June. There will be no start after 1600 hrs
Prize Giving-Ceremony: Tuesday 24 June, 1930 hrs in Kiel-Schilksee

The harbour area is closed for all vehicles at night.

Friday, 20 June, 0800 – 2400 hrs
Saturday, 21 June, 0600 – 1200 hrs
Tuesday, 24 June, 1200 – 2400 hrs
Wednesday, 25 June, 0800 – 2400 hrs
Sunday, 29 June, 1200 – 2000 hrs
Temporary Access to the Marina: You may enter temporarily the marina by paying a deposit of 50 € valid for one hour. The deposit will be returned at the exit after having left the harbour area on time.
Cranes: Keelboats arriving by trailer may be launched and hauled out with their own connection wire by the cranes in the Kiel-Schilksee Olympic Centre only. During the event a craning fee for one launching and one haul-out is covered with the Entry Fee.
