2015 Open Granini J/24 and Melges 24 Open Hungarian Championship on September 23-27

Balatonfüredi Yacht Club will host 2015 Open Granini J/24 and Melges 24 Open Hungarian Championship on September 23-27. Deadline for entries and payment of the entry fee is 14 September 2015. Don’t miss the great opportunity to sail on the racing field of the Melges24 Europeans 2014!

The "Hungarian Sea", Lake Balaton, Central Europe's largest lake, which is one of our precious natural resources, and the City of Balatonfüred, the birthplace of the Hungarian national competitive sailing will certainly be excellent venues for Melges24 sailing enthusiasts.

The deadline for entries is September 14, 2015. You can find all the details in the Notice of Race which is now ready for you to download. Entries shall be submitted by sending an e-mail to byc@byc.hu with the name of the boat, nationality, sail number, club and all crew members. The on-site registration is scheduled for Septmber 23-24, 2015. Late entries can still be submitted by the end of the on-site registration.

Note: J/24 and Melges24 Hungarian Championship and please write there the name of the helmsman. Late entries can be paid only by cash during the on-site registration at the Regatta Office.

Lake Balaton is under natural preservation and the use of powerboats is strictly regulated by Hungarian law. To obtain temporary permits, support boats shall register at the Organizing Authority (contact in NOR 22.) until 14 September 2015 where all details will be communicated included the exact fee that applies to the permit. A limited number of support boats are available to be chartered. For further information, please contact the Organizing Authority.
