MELGES PERFORMANCE SAILBOATS SIGN UP AS FIRST ASSOCIATE SPONSOR OF MELGES 24 WORLDS

We are delighted to announce that Melges Performance Sailboats have reinforced their long standing support of the Melges 24 Class by signing up as the first Associate Sponsor of the 2001 World Championship, to be held in conjunction with Terra Nova Trading / Yachting Key West Race Week from 20-25 January.

Following the venue transfer to Key West, the IMCA is undertaking a major patronage and sponsorship search to help support an expanded facilities and social programme for the World Championship. A wide range of opportunities for private and commercial involvement is available starting at US$2,000 and including an overall Title Sponsorship package.

Melges Performance Sailboats has signed on as an Associate Sponsor. From the moment Lauderdale was cancelled, Melges Performance Sailboats offered to help in rescheduling the Worlds. We are grateful that they have been able to formalise this support in the form of sponsorship.
