March 23, 2018 - Punta Ala, Italy -  The first event of 2018 Melges 24 European Sailing Series kicks off with lovely springy conditions that allowed the fifteen participating teams from six nations to start the season with a full day of sailing. Moderate breeze filled The Gulf of Follonica in the late morning and the fleet, under the superb coordination of PRO Alessandro Testa, completed three races, getting back to the moorings only in the late afternoon.

March 22, 2018 - Punta Ala, Italy - The sixth season of the Melges 24 European Sailing Series kicks off in Punta Ala, Italy this upcoming weekend. After being travelled all around the Europe during past years, 2018 season will concentrate in South joining five regattas of the Melges 24 Italian Tour, including the European Championship in Riva del Garda, and one regatta, which will be traditionally held in Portoroz, Slovenia.

February 21, 2018 - Port Lincoln, Australia -  South Australia’s Sandy Higgins, sailing on Scorpius, took a stranglehold on the Australian Melges 24 Championship, taking out the fifth heat of the series on the second day today in tricky and light breezes off Port Lincoln. It was the third bullet for Higgins, who has also recorded a second and a fifth to date.

Three heats were sailed on Boston Bay, with Higgins taking out the first and third heats in Scorpius, and a second in the middle race.
