AUS - Melges 24 Nationals 2018 - Ph Ally Graham

February 22, 2018 - Port Lincoln, Australia - By Neil Stanbury, Down Under Sail - It seems that all our headlines include the word 'Higgins', however with two heats yet to be sailed in the Musto Melges 24 Nationals at Port Lincoln, Sandy Higgins and his team on Scorpius is now certain to take the championship. With eight heats completed, Scorpius has recorded five wins and a second.

February 21, 2018 - Port Lincoln, Australia -  South Australia’s Sandy Higgins, sailing on Scorpius, took a stranglehold on the Australian Melges 24 Championship, taking out the fifth heat of the series on the second day today in tricky and light breezes off Port Lincoln. It was the third bullet for Higgins, who has also recorded a second and a fifth to date.

February 20, 2018 - Port Lincoln, Australia -  Written by Neil Stanbury, Down Under Sail -  Despite being a relative newcomer to the class, six-time Australian 505 champion Sandy Higgins has charged to a solid lead after the first day’s sailing in the Melges 24 Australian Championships at Port Lincoln today. Three heats were sailed on Boston Bay, with Higgins taking out the first and third heats in Scorpius, and a second in the middle race.

February 19, 2018 - St. Petersbrurg, USA - Written by Dave Reed - After two days of racing on Tampa Bay, light weather persisted Sunday to close the 2018 Helly Hansen National Offshore One Design Regatta in St. Petersburg with a day ashore. Team Monsoon, led by skipper Bruce Ayres, of Newport Beach, Calif., was named Overall Winner as the top team from the Melges 24 fleet, deemed the weekend's most competitive class.
