1. Arrival coffee / tea from 8.45 – 9.15 am in the meeting room 
2. Open Welcome, Introduction of new representatives, President’s report
3. Round Table Class Reports & Updates 
    - Introduction of classes representative and highlight of max 1-2 from the NCA report
5. Financial Report and Budgets 
6. Marketing & Communications Report 
7. Technical Report 
8. Builders Reports 
9. Elections of officers (click on the candidates name to view their CVs where provided) 
   - Chairman (replacing Riccardo Simoneschi) 
  • The central office received two proposals for postion of officer.
    One regarding mr. Jens A. Whatne and one regarding mr. Chris Farkas.

    After the expiration of the deadline for presentation, the central office informed me that both were not formally correct, for different objective reasons relating procedure and eligibility.

    Therefore:
    -in front of such exceptional situation not covered by our Constitution,
    -in consideration of the fact that the AGM is the only body formally empowered to decide on issues not differently covered by the Constitution,
    -acting under point 11.2 of our constitution and in the sense of constitution 10.4.8,  this matter (and all the relative files) will be brought to the attention of the AGM for discussion and decision in the best interest of the Class.

10.4.3   AGM – 24th Oct:          distribution of agenda and paperwork 
10.4.4   AGM – 7th Nov:            deadline for amendments to motions 
10.4.5   AGM – 14th Nov:          distribution of revised agenda with details of attachment(s) to agenda 
10.4.6   AGM 6th Dec.               IMCA AGM “Only the motions, amendments and nominations on the agenda and its attachments shall be voted on.”

NOTES

Nations are asked to confirme the name of their representatives or proxies and any observers as soon as possible to assist us in the management and planning of the meeting.  National Classes are also reminded that, as per the Class Constitution, World Council representatives must be Full Members of the Melges 24 Class.

The 2014 class membership numbers for each nation will be verified and invoiced in October as per the Constitution.  National Classes are reminded that they must pay their membership invoice in full prior to the AGM to be eligible to vote.  

The voting allocations for the 2014 IMCA World Council AGM will confirmed once the final membership numbers are verified and invoices paid:
