SPI OUEST-FRANCE - One of the biggest sailing events in France invites Melges 24 fleet!
June 12, 2021 - The SNT and Ouest-France will be delighted to welcome Melges 24 teams to the Spi Ouest-France from 7 to 10 October 2021.
A major sailing event in French sailing, the Spi Ouest-France Destination Morbihan traditionally takes place every year on Easter weekend in the bay of Quiberon.
This 43rd edition was to be held from April 1 to 5, 2021, but like last year, due to the health crisis, the Spi Ouest-France Destination Morbihan is postponed from October 7 to 10, 2021.
Organized by the Ouest-France newspaper and the Société Nautique de La Trinité-sur-Mer, the Spi Ouest-France Destination Morbihan has become over the 42 contested editions the largest regatta of sailboats in Europe in the spring, mixing amateurs and professionals, monohulls and multihulls, monotypes and IRC and Osiris series sailboats.
The Spi Ouest-France Destination Morbihan is a must for all lovers of the sea, sailing and competition. Over the years, it has become a must for all sailors who can thus claim one or more participations and, for the best, prestigious victories!
In 2021 a minimum of 8 Melges 24 boats are required to enter for constituting a competing class and series.
